Hida Funayama Snow Resort Arkopia Good for Families & Beginners
From the gentle slope to off piste. A slope full of changes is attractive
The skiing area that spreads out in hillside of Funayama of 1,480m above sea level. It is the layout which is lengthwise, and is simple, and is plain. The upper part is an advanced course. Intermediate part is an intermediate course. The lower part is a beginner's class course. A course number is 8 and a relatively compact skiing area, but natural landform is made use of, and the slope full of changes can enjoy both a skier and the snowboarder. On a fine day, you can overlook the mountains of the Northern Alps such as Mt. Ontakesan, the Mt. Norikuradake from the mountaintop.

No. 1 Slope
A very large gentle slope of approximately 1km. Along the peach liner quad lift, the cross course with a wave and the bank is built. It is most suitable as confirmation of the technique of intermediate skier, the advanced skier, training slope of the beginner. 800m in total length, up to 13 degrees, an average of 8 degrees.
No. 2 Slope
The wide intermediate slope which was completely maintained. A carving turn is comfortable. 600m in total length, up to 15 degrees, an average of 13 degrees.
Rinkan Course
The course that extends to Shirakaba Course and the upper Riesen Course. You can enjoy cruising. 600m in total length, up to 28 degrees, an average of 13 degrees.
Riesen Course
Natural bump leads to the narrow course. Technique is required. 600m in total length, up to 28 degrees, an average of 23 degrees.
Champion Course
The steep slope which runs side by side with Riesen Course. It is chance for the expert to show what he/she can do that there is an upper pair liner lift aside and sees it from a lift. 700m in total length, up to 32 degrees, an average of 26 degrees.
