Shiga Kogen Maruike / Hasuike / Sunvalley Good for Skiers
The popular area that tells the pleasure of the ski to many people
Sunvalley
A skiing area that the Sunvalley goes up the road to access to the Shiga Kogen area and sees first. By a layout full of variety from the beginner's class to the upper grade, you can enjoy comfortable cruising in lake Biwaike under eyes although being compact. The elevation is the lowest in Shiga Kogen, but the quality of snow is perfect as bases exceed 1300m. This skiing area connects from the Hozaka First Quad Lift place to get off with the Maruike area.
Maruike
The skiing area that the record that a ski lift was built over remained earliest in the country, and ticked away the history in the Japanese ski history, and has been loved by many people. There is kids school" accepting it from a "Maruike kids park" fully equipped with a bowler carousel or the moving walkway of the rotary playground equipment to a base and 4 years old child, and the facilities and service for families are substantial, too.
Hasuike
In a gentle slope among the beautiful white birch forest, it is most suitable for a beginner and the family. There is the free rest station, too.

Sunvalley Main Slope
There are moderate vertical drop and feeling of grade and can glide happily. 700m in total length, up to 25 degrees, an average of 20 degrees.
Sunvalley A + Shirokuma Course
A grade is rapid and is for advanced skier. It is a recommended course for the training of the person aiming at the skill up. 650m in total length, up to 30 degrees, an average of 18 degrees.
Maruike C Course
A relatively gentle slope.
Maruike A Course
The steep slope which represents Shiga Kogen. It becomes the finest powder slope at the time of the snowfall. However, big bump as it does not seem that a foot hides forms a line, and there is it at the age of the difficulty slope letting a challenger surrender. 260m in total length, up to 32 degrees, an average of 27 degrees.
Hasuike B Course
A gentle slope spreads out from the upper part and can ski relaxedly. Because this course connects with various courses halfway, it is popular among the wide layers.
Hasuike Junior Course
The practice course of the beginner. It does well as connection course to the Giant area. 600m in total length, up to 18 degrees, an average of 15 degrees.
