Hakuba Happo One Good for skiers
Overwhelming scale boast big piste. It is popular for foreigners.
Hakuba Happo One is NO.1 in the area and one of the biggest ski resort in Japan with elevation difference 1,071m of the summit at an altitude of 1,831m which boasts the longest run of 8km.
Skiers percentage is higher than other Hakuba area and it is called "Skier’s mecca".
The pistes are "Nakiyama", "Shirakaba", "Kokusai" and "Sakka".
"Sakka" is for beginners. Beginners and intermediate for "Nakiyama" and "Shirakaba". It is good for advanced skier.
Among them "Nakiyama Riesen slalom Course" is popular in the wide slope of the full-length 3,045m.
Besides that , "Usagidaira", "Kurobishi" has also specialty courses which is recommended.
Also it is breathtaking views of mountains of Northern alps and Tateyama mountain range such as "Shiroumayarigatake", "Shakushidake" and "Shiroumadake" from the top of the piste in the sunny day.
Parking is near to gondola station is not free but others are free parking (capacity of 1,000).
Free Parking is around Nakiyama piste, shuttle bus is running from the parking area which is little far from the piste.
In Happo town, there are many hotels and inns with Onsen and foot bath.
It becomes very popular among foreigners the name of "HAPPO".

If you are looking for reasonable way, it is recommended to take advantage of such services Day and pack ticket. Third Sunday of each month from DEC to APR, children (under 12 year old) lift ticket is free as "Ski Children's Day". Hakuba valley ticket can be used in 10 areas in Hakubamura and Otanimura. There are 1,2,3 days tickets and very reasonable.
Lots of places to stay with Onsen
There are lot of accommodations around the piste you can choose from pension to hotels depending on the budget. Hakuba is famous for Onsen. Accommodations are around Happo town, Wadanohara and Misorano. There are shuttle buses from Happo information center to piste.

Nakiyama Piste
At the entrance ski ground of Happo, a number of restaurants operate their business beside the Nakiyama course. The top of this course, "Nakiyama's Wall" is designed for intermediate skiers. Skiers can enjoy night skiing here too. length 560m up to 35°, an average 17°.
Skyline Course
Good snow condition faced North. Valley along the ridges in the slippery flat burn non-compacted snow burn. Forest road detour course, also tree orchid area there. Length 2,745m up to 32°, an average 16°.
Panorama Course
Fun course with wide course width. Good snow condition popular for all the level of skiers and snowboarders. Length 2,030m up to 25°, an average 16°.
