Let’s go for Mt. Hodo hiking in Chichibu Alps!

Mt. Hodo is a mountain located in Nagatoro-cho, Chichibu-gun, Saitama Prefecture, which is also introduced in the Michelin Green Guide.
The earliest of February is the best season when the winter sweet blossoms are in full bloom. On the site of about 15,000 square meters at the summit of Mt. Hodo, 3,000 winter sweet blossoms are blooming. From the summit you can see the famous mountains of Mt. Bukoh, Mt. Ryokami. Although it is often necessary to access the climbing mountain road in Japan by bus, it is possible to approach Mt. Hodo from the station and easy access by train from within Tokyo. It is famous for starting a Manpuku-ji Temple, approaching Mt. Hodo peak through Nogami Pass.

After going down the mountain, you can also enjoy a tour of the pile of rocks in Nagatoro. (accessible on foot from the Hodosan Shrine).Chichibu is a famous for grilled offal. It is a place where you can enjoy a great deal of food, such as Asami Reizo's shaved ice.
