Okubo Mabu

It is the huge Mabu in Hondani area in the southeast of the Ginzan and 310m above sea level. There is the legend that first prefect of Iwami Ginzan, Nagayasu Okubo went in riding a horse with a spear remains. You can see inside of pit only with tour.

The tour starts from the Iwami Ginzan world heritage center. You need around 2 hours and 30 minutes.
[ Hours ]
4 times a day in Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and holiday (from December to February, they don’t have). It is available by prior arrangement before 5 days.
