"As one of the oldest large houses in town which exist in the country, the main building, Motogura, treasure house, rice granary and boiler room are designated as important cultural property.
Kikuya is the family who is designated for senior elder of the Hagi clan for generations, and treated stuffs for clan. So, the construction is magnificent that in the garden, there are spreaded stones of around 6m, there is dressing room with wooden floor in the bathroom. “Mise” which look to the Onarimichi that the feudal lord passed when he went to Edo because of the system of alternate attendance, is single-storied building to not look down at the feudal lord.
