Suganuma Gassho-zukuri Village

Nine houses with steep roofs (Gassho-zukuri style) remains on a small plateau in the shore of Shogawa. Here is a heavy snowfall area, the strong constructed houses without using one nail endure the severe environment, and people are still living here.
