Kurashikikan (Tourist Information Office)

This is a wooden Western-style building on the bank of the Kurashiki River, which is located in the center of the Aesthetic area. It was built as a Kurashiki government office in 1916 (Taisho 5) and was used as a city hall afterwards. It now becomes the tourist information center and prepares the map and the brochure which introduces the shops, facilities and restaurants in the Aesthetic area, and gives the information of accommodations.
