Okutsu-miya (Enoshima Shirine)

It is located in the depths of the island through Enoshima botanical garden and Yama Futatsu from Nakatsu-miya. The Okutsu-miya enshrines Tagirihime-no-mikoto said to protect the sea peacefully. It is said that Ishidorii of the entrance was oblation from Yoritomo Minamoto. The main shrine was rebuilt in the Edo era, and there is the picture which tortoise glares all directions painted by Hoitsu Sakai on the ceiling of the shrine gate.
