On the stairs from Hetsu-miya, there is luxurious main shrine painted in red with gongen-zukuri style which was built in 1689 (Genroku 2) and repaired entirely in 1996 (Heisei 8). This Nakatsu-miya was founded in 853 (Ninju 3) and enshrines Ichikishimahime-no-mikoto. Wonderful painting of flowers and birds and sculpture are made on the ceiling of offerings hall and worship hall. Stone lantern dedicated in the Edo era by merchant and Kabuki actor forms a line in the precincts.
