Maruyama Inari Shrine (Tsurugaoka Hachimangu)

Maruyama Inari Shrine is located on the hill in west side of the main shrine is called Jishu shrine which was located in the place where the Tsurugaoka Hachimangu main shrine stands today,
It has the simple and full-scale Japanese architectural style construction in the middle of the Muromachi era and is said to be the oldest building in the precinct. Hitaki-sai Fire Festival held on November 8 is a festival of giving thanks for huge harvest and praying for perfect state of health of the parishioner, and Kamakura Kagura handled down in Tsurugaoka Hachiman-gu Shrine for a long time is dedicated.
