Shojuken (Kencho-ji Temple)

The Shojuken located along the Hanso-bo approach to a shrine was the teahouse which was famous for a dumpling and sweet alcoholic drink made from sake lees. Besides, many shops of the Shojuken link the eaves in the Taisho era, and it is said that it was a lively place. Zenzo Kasai of the novel writer who worked on writing in Honjuin just at that time. It was daughter Hana of the Shojuken to have brought his daily meals. They were attracted later and cohabited. Kasai let Hana appear as a main character of the work "Osei". In Shojuken, there is what a lot of memories of Kasai almost the second hometown are hidden in. A rebuilt building is left, but does not do business now.
