Cape Tappi Lighthouse

A lighthouse of 13m in height to be made at the cliff of the cape. Since construction of 1932, it becomes the signpost for ships coming and going in Tsugaru Strait. You can look around Hokkaido and the Kodomari from the cape. There are the Tappi battery trace indicating Tappi-zaki having been a point of the coastal defense once and the monument of Shouin Yoshida and others.

It is 35 minutes in village-operated bus bound for Toppi-zaki lighthouse from JR Tsugaru Line Mimmaya Station. Bus stop terminal getting off. A 3-minute walk.
