Akita City Akarenga-kan Museum

Former Akita Bank Central Branch (important cultural property of the country) built in 1912. It is based on a Renaissance style with white tiles of the outer wall on the first floor and the second floor of the red bricks.
The inside including the stairs of marble and the visitor's room made with all zelkova wood is luxurious and adds to the Shiro Sekiya Memorial Room, who is a human national treasure. Shiro Sekiya was born in the current Sotoasahikawa, Akita city in 1907 and was a blacksmith.
