Senshu Park

The Kubota Castle completed in 1604 (Keicho 9) which was the residence of Akita feudal lord Satake. The castle does not have the castle tower. You can look at the city from the observation deck of the corner turret that was restored. In the park, there is the Masakichi Hirano Museum (Akita Museum of Art) known as the collection of Tsuguji Fujita, and the Satake historical material Museum. As well as the place known as a famous spot of cherry trees and azaleas.
