Togashi Candle Shop

The picture candle is known as a folk craft of Tsuruoka city and was a presentation product for the shogun in the Edo era. It is also called a floral candle, the patterns such as a court-cow-carriage crest, a lotus flower and a floral design are drawn using a color. The painting experience (from 500 yen) of the candle is available. (Reservations are required up until two or three days before). Necessary time from 30 minutes to one hour.
