Sohompo Shirozakeya (Vicinity of Hase-dera Temple)

A shop of Kusamochi (rice-flour cake flavored with mugwort) along an approach to Hase-dera Temple. Rice is steamed in bamboo steamer of the store, and is hulled with tree mortar. Homemade bean jam using the adzuki bean from Tokachi is popular for moderate sweetness. "Hatsuse-no-Hana-yokan" which is poured Yoshino Kudzu on the adzuki bean yokan, and put wild cherry blossoms has the salty taste of the cherry blossom which bring more sweetness, and the coloring is beautiful.
