Tokyo National Museum

When the Ministry of Education natural history station held an exhibition in Yushima temple in 1872 (Meiji 5), this museum was established as a first Japanese museum. After the change of the times including an earthquake disaster and the war, there is it more than 110,000 store products now. There are 87 national treasures, important cultural property 631. The display places are as follows. The main building: Japanese art, Orient hall: Oriental art and archaeology remains, Heisei building: Japanese archaeology remains, Horyu-ji Temple treasure building: Horyu-ji Temple offering treasure.
