Imperial Palace East Garden, Ninomaru garden, Museum of the Imperial Collections

There are many a feature and historic spots of Edo and, in the Imperial Palace site that was a castle of the Shogun of Tokugawa shogunate government for 270 years, remains. Other than an open space and a castle tower, Ishigaki, a moat, the guard station of the main enclosure trace, Ruins of Ninomaru is maintained as a Japanese garden, and the flower of the season is beautiful, and Imperial Palace East Garden is most suitable for walk. In Museum of the Imperial Collections, it stores approximately 9,500 points of artworks including a picture and the industrial art object inherited by the Imperial Family and opens it to the public. The doorway of Imperial Palace East Garden is Ote-mon Gate, Hirakawa Mon, Kitahane bridge gate in three places. You enter at Ote-mon Gate and can lead from Kitahane bridge gate to Kitanomaru-koen Park, the National Museum of Modern Art area.

A picture or an industrial art object are released in Museum of the Imperial Collections.

Free of charge. There is no need of advance reservations. you return an entrance ticket at receipt, time of leaving.
