Koukiyogaien (Imperial Palace Plaza) can go in and out freely; Imperial Palace East Garden is no charge for admission, too. Except these, a reservation procedure is necessary beforehand.  A general congratulatory visit: Their Majesties the Emperor and Empress, the royalties receive the celebration from the nation in the palace east garden of the Imperial Palace on December 23 on the Emperor's Birthday on January 2 in the New Year. The signature by public in front of the Imperial Household Agency is performed in the afternoon on the Emperor's Birthday, too.
 A fall gagaku concert: A concert of the gagaku is held every year in the department of musical matters in the Imperial Palace for three days of the beginning of November from the middle of October. The others on the date for concert, a performance program, the application point are announced in about the beginning of July. The application is a double postal card. Free of charge.

Another name for Niju-bashi Bridge "an arch bridge." It is a popular place of the taking a ceremonial photograph.
