Kyoto Culture Museum

The general culture facilities which introduce the history and culture of Kyoto clearly. Other than the main building, there is the annex of the important cultural property which was a building of the old Bank of Japan Kyoto Branch. The general exhibition room where a genuine document and picture introduce the history, culture of Kyoto. There are film theaters showing a movie related to Kyoto. The cafe where former Bank of Japan vault was redecorated into for a break is recommended.
It is dotted with old Western buildings from outskirts of the Kyoto culture Museum, Karasuma of the Sanjyo street to the Teramachi Street area and can enjoy scenery of the cityscape.
