Nanzen-ji Temple

The atmosphere that the path of the front of the Konchi-in passing through the tunnel of the red brick from the subway Keage Station Exit 1 is quiet. In front of chief priest quarter, a garden of the Karesansui which Enshu Kobori made in the Edo era, the fusuma picture of the Kano group in the small quarter for priest are splendid. In addition, the Suirokaku Aqueduct which the Lake Biwa canal in the precincts flows through, the Nanzen-in in the other side of the Suirokaku Aqueduct are unmissable.
