Kiyomizu Shindo (Chawan-zaka)

When you go up the slope from the gojo slope bus stop towards Kiyomizu-dera Temple, a way is divided on the way. A course to curve to the right is Kiyomizu Shindo, and a lot of shops handling ceramics such as the Kiyomizu ware are called the Chawan-zaka. As there are few parking lots, there are fewer cars than gojo slope and is comfortable to walk in. When you see a triple tower of Kiyomizu-dera Temple before long, there is the impression "that came to Kyoto" some other time. The Memorial Museum Kondo Yuzo is right here, too.
