Kamigamo Shrine (Kmowakeikazuchi Shrine)

The Kamowakeikazuchi-no-Okami of the enshrined deity is known as a guardian deity of amulet, the electricity. The worship of the Imperial Family was warm and was considered to be a big shrine next to Ise Grand Shrine. When you pass the second torii gate, a narrow corridor and conic sand mounds are impressive. The sand mounds modelled the object of worship mountain in the main shrine back. There are main shrine and a provisional shrine of the Nagare-zukuri style inside of the tower gate. Shinto ritual such as Kamo tanka feast on the curve of a river bank party of second Sunday of April, horse racing act of God of May 5, the crow sumo of September 9 is performed.
