Hakodate Takadaya Kahee Museum

Through marine transportation business and northern fishery, a footprint of the Takadaya Kahee which contributed to reclamation of Hokkaido is introduced to be development of Hakodate. Ancient documents at the time, the model of the ship that Kahee visited Hakodate at the time, a life tool, approximately 500 points of documents including business-related documents are displayed and convey a way of his achievement in now. A stone old kombu warehouse built in 1903 (Meiji 36) is reused.
