沖縄

Okinawa prefecture is located the west most in Japan, and is comprised of 363 islands around Okinawa Island. The prefectural seat is Naha-shi. The whole area is subtropical climate, and a part almost belongs to the tropical zone. It is a warm climate through the year, and 90% of the citizen of the prefecture lives in Okinawa Island. For a sightseeing spot, many tourists come to not only Okinawa Island but also the islands of the South-West Islands. Particularly, in Yaeyama Islands, Taketomijima, Kohamajima, Aragusukujima, Iriomotejima, Hatomajima, Haterumajima are popular among remote island fans including Ishigakijima playing a key role.
