屋久島・奄美群島
The island where Yakushima is located on the sea of Osumi Peninsula Cape Sata south-southwest approximately 60km of Kagoshima. There are the mountains more than 1,000 meters above sea level more than 40. And most of the islands are covered in a virgin forest. It was enrolled in world natural heritage in 1993. The Amami group of islands in the ocean 370km away from Kagoshima-shi consists of 14 islands. Here, sightseeing points are introduced of Amamioshima, Kakeromajima, Kikaijima, Tokunoshima, Okinoerabujima, Yoron Island.
